Reliance Jio is touted to offer ringtones, aka Jio ringtones of different genres, such as devotional, regional, Bollywood and Hollywood.
If you’re a Jio user, you can get these ringtones for free. Additionally, you can switch between tunes at no additional charges. That means you can choose your ringtone depending on the particular event you want to celebrate.

1. Setup Jio ringtone on your phone using the MyJio app
You can use the MyJio app to set up a ringtone on the phone of your choice. MyJio app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
If you want to set your ringtone with this app, the first thing you have to do is download and install the app on your device.
For Android, you can download the app from the Google Play Store for 28 MB. On the other hand, iOS users can download it from the Apple app store at over 225 MB.
However, the MyJio app is accessible on Android 5.0 lollipop and iOS 10.1 devices.
Once you’ve downloaded the MyJio app on your device, follow the steps shown below to set up your Jiotune.
- Open the MyJio app and log in to your account.
If you do not have an account, create one.
- Tap on the hamburger icon at the top left corner of your screen to select the Jiotunes option and open the Songs tab.
A list of songs will appear on your screen across various genres such as Bollywood, regional, international and devotional.
- Now, you can search for your favourite song or choose from the listed songs.
- Tap on the play button below the album art of the song to listen.
- Lastly, tap on the Set as the Jio Tune button to make it your ringtone.
That’s it! You successfully set up a Jio ringtone on your mobile phone using the MyJio app.
2. Setup Jio Tune using JioSaavn app
The JioSaavn app is another app to choose a Jio Tune. The app will let you set a caller tune of your favourite song.
JioSaavn app is also accessible on both Android and iOS platforms. If you’re an Android user, you can download the app from the Google Play Store.
Other hand, iOS users can download it from the Apple app store. After completing the downloading process, follow the steps given below to set a caller tune.
- Search for the song that you want to set as your ringtone.
- At the bottom, tap on the song to bring it to the big screen.
- Tap on the set Jio Tune button at the bottom of the song title.
A popup will appear on your screen where you can preview your screen.
- Again, tap on the set Jio Tune button to confirm the song as your ringtone.
Then a message will appear on your device showing that the Jio ringtone is activated on your number.
3. Set a Jio caller tune by sending an SMS
If you do not want to use these apps to set a caller tune, you can simply send an SMS.
Just send JT to 56789 to explore the available list of Jiotunes. Now, you have to reply to the prepared message with the movie name.
Alternatively, if you want to search for the album, reply with the album name.
Once you find your favourite song, they’ll ask you whether you want to set it as your ringtone or not.
For confirmation, you’ll receive an SMS on your mobile number that will require your consent to activate the JioTunes services.
You have to reply with Y if you agree to the activation. Remember that you have to respond within 30 minutes.
After sending, Jio will send you a confirmation message showing that the caller tune is activated on your mobile number.
Bonus Tip:- How to copy a Jio caller tune?
If you want to copy a Jio caller tune from one of your contacts, you have to dial * while dialling that contact number.
Then you’ll receive an SMS asking for your consent. You have to reply to the message with Y to confirm the activation.
After a while, Jio will send you a confirmation SMS showing the caller tune is activated on your number.
